A senior manager at the IPC's Strategic Investment Department and one of the Ten Stonehearts, Aventurine has earned his position through sheer nerve—literally betting against fate to get there. His Cornerstone is "Aventurine of stratagems," and he treats life like a high-stakes investment portfolio, playing every gamble with unsettling confidence.
He's best known for his constant smile and air of casual frivolity, which makes it nearly impossible to read what he's actually thinking or feeling. That cheerfulness masks someone who doesn't hesitate to take enormous risks—and somehow comes out on top.
Aventurine is a young man with medium-length sandy-blond hair, shorter in front and longer in back. His most striking feature is his mismatched eyes: one magenta, one cyan, both with distinctive black vertical slit pupils. On the left side of his neck is a black marking he calls his "commodity code"—a reminder of his past that he wears openly. The scar used to be vivid red, evidence that it was branded onto his skin.
His whole look screams high-roller aesthetics. He favors a teal and gold dress shirt with a high collar and a spade-shaped chest window, layered under a dramatic dark blazer lined in gold with a generous fur trim.
