Kenta's a third-year Business Administration student and the leader of GYROAXIA, where he also plays guitar. He's got serious ambitions for the band—especially after becoming fixated on Nayuta Asahi's vocal talent. He'll do whatever it takes to push GYROAXIA into the spotlight, though his drive comes across as pretty calculated. Despite seeming friendly enough on the surface, he keeps emotional distance from his bandmates, viewing Nayuta more as a tool for success than an actual person he cares about.
He's sharp when it comes to gathering intel on rival bands and the competition, and he uses that skill ruthlessly. His little brother Wataru might resent him, but Kenta's genuinely protective and loves him unconditionally—he's actually there when Wataru needs advice or just someone to listen.
Before GYROAXIA, Kenta was the bassist and vocalist in another band he formed during high school with Reon and one other member. That project fell apart once he spotted Nayuta and saw the potential to build something bigger.
