Jenaro is a silver rock craftsman who lives near Kasado City on Silver Rock Isle. He works alongside his Sandslash to create jewelry from the island's signature material. Best known for his appearance in the episode "Hi Ho Silver.Away!", Jenaro spends his days crafting intricate pieces—though his girlfriend Ariene constantly worries he's pushing himself too hard and getting reckless with his work.
What Ariene doesn't realize is that Jenaro's been pouring his energy into a special project: recreating her old Silver Wing pin, which has become worn and weathered over time. He wants to give her something beautiful to replace it.
When Team Rocket shows up with a massive vacuum cleaner intent on looting every piece of silver rock jewelry on the island, Jenaro teams up with Ash and his friends to fight back and protect the island's treasures. They manage to recover everything—including the newly finished Silver Wing pin.
Jenaro uses the restored pin as his proposal gift. The plan works: Ariene says yes, and the two get engaged.
