Saya comes from what's called the blue world and has the rare ability to manipulate light. She's notoriously bad at reading the room—emotional distance and social cues just don't register with her the way they do for others. Despite this, her personal motto is "I want to become someone special," which pretty much sums up her ambition and drive. It's hard not to root for her, even if she's going to say something awkward while doing it.
