Sanjirou's the kind of kid who's basically always smiling—genuinely friendly and upbeat. His dad's a yamabushi, and growing up training in the mountains with him made him naturally observant and gave him serious speed. Only Rantarou can outrun him in their year, which has created this low-key competitive thing between them that both seem to enjoy.
He shares a room with Heidayuu, and they're both really into setting traps. Their room's basically turned into a workshop of contraptions and devices at this point.
