Ga-chan lost both his parents to the Yatterman when he was young. He's been close with Alouette since childhood—she's the one who gave him that nickname, and it stuck. He ended up joining the Doronbow Gang as their tailor, designing and making all their new gear for the journey ahead.
One of his quirks is that he relies on dice to make decisions. Depending on whether the roll lands on odd or even numbers, he'll go one way or another. It's become his way of dealing with uncertainty, though it can make him pretty unpredictable to travel with.
