A Russian operative working under Sylvester Asimov who volunteered for the Annex Project with a personal stake—his wife and unborn child were dying from the A.E. virus ravaging Earth, and this mission was their only shot at a cure. He's laid-back by nature, almost easygoing, but when it comes to his people and his mission, his loyalty doesn't waver.
He's Sylvester's son-in-law, which made things complicated enough that he went by the alias "Alexander" during Annex I to avoid getting mixed up with another Aleksandr on the team. His insectoid modifications came from the Sumatra Stag Beetle—not the flashiest choice, but it gets the job done. He can generate smoke by superheating his body from the inside, and the beetle's mandibles translate well to carving through Terraformars. Nothing fancy, but effective.
