Makoto is a character from the visual novel Kanon, voiced by Mayumi Iizuka. She literally attacks Yuuichi Aizawa out of nowhere early in the story, and after that gets taken back to his place where she ends up staying. The thing is, she's lost her memory—though not her name—and she's convinced she has some kind of grudge against Yuuichi from when they were kids. Her amnesia is way worse than what Yuuichi or Ayu deal with, and it comes from a completely different cause.
Makoto's got this mischievous streak that makes her pull pranks on Yuuichi constantly, mostly because she can't stand him. Some are harmless (like dropping food on his head), and some are genuinely chaotic (she once threw lit firecrackers in his room). But as she settles into life with the Minase family, that dislike slowly melts away, and she actually starts to genuinely like the guy.
She comes across as pretty naive about everyday stuff—she doesn't realize she can just buy her own meat buns or manga, which Yuuichi chalks up to a total lack of social experience. Like Ayu, she's got her own quirky verbal tic: she says "auu~" whenever she's frustrated or sad, though it doesn't really mean anything. She also always refers to herself in the third person. Partway through her route, she picks up two bells that she ties around her right wrist and loves the sound they make.
One of the bigger character moments involves a stray cat. Makoto finds it and names it Piro, though she takes a while warming up to the idea of keeping it—she gets genuinely sad thinking about how pets get abandoned when their owners can't handle them anymore. Once she bonds with Piro though, she's completely attached, constantly carrying the cat around on her head.
