Indra was the older son of Hagoromo Ootsutsuki and the ancestor of the Uchiha clan. He was a natural talent—whatever he turned his attention to, he picked up easily, especially ninshuu. This early aptitude made him confident in his own abilities, and he ended up living pretty much alone, convinced he didn't need to rely on anyone else.
