Zapp Renfro is a member of Libra and fights using the Big Dipper blood style. He's known for being hot-tempered, impulsive, and constantly getting himself and others into messy situations—though he's apparently better at mentoring new recruits than you'd expect from someone so reckless. That's why he ended up as Leo's partner and bodyguard. He's also a bit of a ladies' man with several lovers scattered around town.
Despite the juvenile behavior, he's shown real creativity with his blood abilities. He can stretch it out like an invisible wire, weave it into a net to break falls, or even ignite it with his lighter for added firepower. His versatility with the blood style is probably his saving grace when it comes to actual combat.
