Satou Matsuzaka has found genuine love for the first time in her life with Shio Koube, and the two now live together in a shared apartment. To the outside world, she claims her aunt lives with her—keeping Shio's presence carefully hidden.
A first-year student at Makikou High School, Satou works at Cure á Cute, where she's known for being friendly and getting along with almost everyone. She keeps up this pleasant persona specifically to maintain the stable income she needs to support their life together. She desperately wants nothing more than to stay in their apartment with Shio forever, but she knows that's impossible without money for food and utilities. The real problem is what happens when she steps outside: people know about her past. People constantly try to meddle with her relationship, and Satou doesn't handle it well. She becomes genuinely vicious when others butt in with their own ideas about what "love" should look like.
