One of the twelve Junisen of Konron mountain, Tenpuku is best known as the brilliant engineer behind Nataku and countless paopeis. He's the inventor of the Koukinrikishi—those flying robots from Konron—and basically responsible for all of Nataku's upgrades and modifications. His own weapon is the Kyuuryuu Shinkatou, a defensive paopei shaped like a nutshell that can also trap enemies inside it.
Despite being this high-tech genius, Tenpuku's got a pretty funny weakness: he's terrified of heights. Fans often note his habit of breaking the fourth wall throughout the manga, constantly staring directly at the camera or making comments that seem addressed straight to the reader, which gives him a uniquely self-aware, meta presence compared to other characters.
