Yukidarumon first showed up in Digimon Adventure when Devimon's Black Gears were controlling it, causing it to attack Taichi and Agumon while the group was split up. Once the kids got it under control, though, it turned into a genuine ally—helpful enough that it actually pitched in to build the raft they needed to reach Server.
Later, in Digimon Savers, Yukidarumon took Ikuto under its wing and basically became a mother figure to him.
