A low-ranking member of Bojack's crew, Gokua doesn't get much screen time or backstory. What we do know is that he's genuinely competent with a sword, which honestly puts him ahead of most of the other grunts. His name comes from the Japanese term gokuakuhidou, which translates to something like "heinous and inhuman"—a fitting choice for a villain's lackey. Interestingly, his partner Bido shares the second half of that same word, suggesting the two were deliberately named as a matched set.
