Yokaze (ヨカゼ) is a medical-nin from Konohagakure known for his work during the Fourth Shinobi World War. He served in the Logistical Support and Medical Division, where he impressed himself with how efficiently Yugao Uzuki handled her responsibilities despite her background in ANBU.
At one point during the war, Yokaze was pulled into active combat alongside Sakura Haruno and Iou. Their mission, assigned by Sukui, was to track down a stolen KIA scroll that Hayate Gekko had taken, along with two unnamed reincarnated shinobi from Suna and Kumo. During the fighting, Yokaze threw his sword to Yugao to use as a weapon, but she struggled to engage—mostly because her opponent was her former lover, and the emotional weight was too much to overcome. Yokaze took a hit during the battle himself, though Yugao managed to patch him up afterward. Despite the complications, the team pulled off the mission: they recovered the scroll and sealed away their targets.
