Yui's the calm, collected one of the group—dark hair, even temperament, the kind of person people naturally turn to when things get chaotic. She's been friends with Akari and Kyouko since childhood, which means she's basically stuck with them whether she likes it or not (she does, though she'd probably never say so out loud).
She's genuinely skilled in the kitchen, to the point where Chinatsu is basically obsessed with getting her to cook. Video games are her thing too—she's the type who actually plays them rather than just talking about them. Living alone in an apartment complex, she's got her independence figured out, but there's a quiet neediness there that she keeps hidden. When Kyouko's not around especially, you can tell the loneliness creeps in.
Despite being pretty reserved most of the time, she's got a weird weakness for Ayano's terrible puns. She'll try to hold it together, but you'll catch her stifling a laugh when nobody's supposed to think it's funny.
