Manda is Orochimaru's personal summon—a colossal purple snake with black banding along his body and four horn-like protrusions jutting from his head. He was the largest snake in existence until Orochimaru created Manda II, which eventually surpassed him in size.
Manda dwarfs just about everything: buildings, trees, massive rock formations. He's noticeably bigger than both Gamabunta and Katsuyu, capable of coiling around the latter with plenty of body left over. His jaws are wide enough to swallow Gamabunta whole in a single gulp. Despite his snake-like fangs—arranged more like a constrictor's than a viper's—they appear designed to deliver venom. He has piercing green eyes that match his reptilian nature.
