Preyas is Marucho Marukura's Guardian Bakugan, a humanoid chameleon creature with a pretty unique gimmick: he can switch between attributes on the fly. He starts out as an Aquos Bakugan but has the ability to shift to Darkus and Subterra whenever it suits him in battle—or switch back to Aquos if needed. This flexibility made him a solid choice for Marucho throughout the original Bakugan Battle Brawlers series and into New Vestroia, where he officially became Marucho's partner starting around episode 26.
