Shun is the main character of the novel. He transferred schools right before his third semester, which meant starting over socially at a new place. He's pretty introverted, so opening up to new classmates doesn't come naturally to him. Outside of school, he makes games as a hobby—it's one of his passions. Throughout the story, he mostly sticks with Hiroshi, who becomes his closest companion at the new school.
