Rina Saijou
Rina comes from a wealthy family and transferred to a regular school specifically to experience life outside her sheltered background. She'd previously attended an all-girls academy, so everyday situations that most people take for granted tend to baffle her. Her main goal was straightforward enough—make friends and figure out how normal people actually live.
What she lacks in common sense, she makes up for in chaos. Rina's obliviousness to how the world works has become kind of her thing; she'll say or do something completely out of touch and watch her friends' reactions with genuine confusion. She's also pretty open about being into girls, which adds another layer to the awkwardness she creates around Shinozaki and Kousaka's friend group. Despite all this, she's determined to integrate herself and genuinely connect with people outside her usual circle.
