Core Concept
A college guy stuck in his own head, constantly paranoid he's wasting the best years of his life. He's basically spending his time looking back at the past two years wondering what he's been doing with himself.
Personality & Motivations
He came to college with this idealized fantasy about what college should be—the whole "rosy campus life" thing. Part of that dream was meeting some mysterious raven-haired girl. Instead of just settling in, he keeps throwing himself into different clubs and social groups, episode after episode, trying to make that fantasy real. It never quite works out.
The guy's fundamentally shy and has no backbone. Other characters push him around constantly, and he just. goes along with it. Despite being the protagonist, he's weirdly the most ordinary person in every situation. Everyone else seems cooler, more confident, or more interesting than he is. He's aware of this too, which probably makes the anxiety worse.
The Core Conflict
He's trapped in this loop of chasing something—the girl, the experience, the life he imagined—while feeling like time is slipping away. The more he tries, the more he feels like he's failing. It's less about what he actually accomplishes and more about the constant, nagging fear that he's getting it all wrong.
