Ryuga is Yuria's older brother and master of the Taizan Tenrōken, a martial art style that lets him tear away chunks of an opponent's flesh while leaving them paralyzed by numbing cold. He's associated with Sirius, the Heavenly Wolf Star—a celestial body that stands apart from both the Hokuto and Nanto constellations. After the world gets ravaged by nuclear war, Ryuga becomes a devoted follower of Raoh, convinced that the tyrant's iron rule is exactly what humanity needs to rebuild.
The character has been voiced by several actors across different anime adaptations: Hideyuki Hori in the original series, Daisuke Sakaguchi in Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu (playing the younger version), and Daisuke Matsubara in Ten no Haoh.
