The crown prince and Zen's older brother, he's got complicated feelings about Shirayuki. He knows his brother is genuinely in love with her, but that doesn't mean he's thrilled about how close they've become—at least not at first.
When Shirayuki heads to Lyrias on a mission, he decides to get involved himself. He borrows Mitsuhide's identity, going by Rouen, and poses as a palace pharmacist working alongside her. It's kind of a sneaky move, but watching Shirayuki actually help people and put in real effort changes his perspective. By the end of it, he's developed genuine respect for her, even if he won't admit it easily.
