Shi Xing carries the weight of a tragic past—he's the son of Tian, haunted by circumstances that shaped everything that came after. Once the Great God of the ferocious affiliation, he grew up in the God's domain under Tian Kui, who served as both his combat instructor and mentor on life itself, teaching him about the mortal world.
As Shi Xing matured into a formidable warrior, his superiors sent him to the human world with a straightforward mission: learn to rule over humans. That's where everything changed. He met Ming Yue, a kind blind woman, and fell in love with her. This experience completely shifted his perspective—he told his superiors that in the lands under his rule, humans deserved to be treated as equals to gods.
That declaration came with consequences. On Shen Yen's orders, Tian Kui and Xin Yue Kui were dispatched to punish him. Xin Yue Kui placed the Mark of Death on Shi Xing, a curse that would transform him into a dangerous, feral beast. Tian Kui, left with no real choice, made an impossible decision: he killed Ming Yue with his own hands to spare her from the suffering that curse would bring—all right in front of Shi Xing.
In Season 1, Zi Yu managed to defeat Shi Xing while he was cursed and berserk. By Season 2, Shi Xing returned to his original form, but he'd made a dark pact with the Immortal Phoenix. The phoenix offered him power beyond measure, though it came at a cost—it would consume his lifeforce until his transcendent vigor ran dry. When his cursed body fused with the Immortal Phoenix, he became exponentially stronger.
That newfound strength finally let him defeat and kill Tian Kui in a massive confrontation. But Shi Xing's rage isn't finished—his vengeance against Shen Yen remains unfinished, and he's determined to destroy him no matter what it takes.
