A male robot created by Dr Mashirito using the same blueprints as Arale. Arale calls him Obotchiman-kun, and he's known for being unfailingly polite and well-mannered—a stark contrast to Arale's chaotic energy. Dr Mashirito originally called him "Caramelman #4" during development, though that name never really stuck. Over time, Obotchiman becomes Arale's love interest, adding a surprisingly sweet dynamic to the series.
