Genji spots Satoshi in the middle of a battle with another trainer. Impressed by what he sees, he invites Satoshi and his friends aboard his ship and challenges him to a match. Genji dominates the battle pretty handily, which is exactly the wake-up call Satoshi needed—he'd been getting cocky, and this loss brings him back down to earth.
