Bit-beast: Wyborg
Ian (Ivan Papov in the Japanese version) is a cocky, sharp-tongued blader who works under Boris in the first series. He respects his boss but has little regard for anyone he faces in battle. What makes him tricky to fight is Wyborg's evasive style—his bit-beast can weave around opponents' attacks with ease. Ian's confident in Biovolt's power and genuinely believes it'll make him stronger, though that confidence doesn't always pay off. By G-Revolution, he's out of the picture after losing to Kai in the preliminaries, though he remains loyal to the Blitzkrieg Boys back in Russia.
Physical-wise, Ian's the shortest of the Demolition Boys, with a long nose, magenta-red eyes, and wears goggles. He's got a cool, aloof demeanor similar to Kai's, and often hangs around Tala—though the two rarely exchange words. Small but scrappy describes him well.
In G-Revolution, Ian basically disappears when the rest of his team gathers, likely still in possession of Wyborg. The manga version tells a different story: Ian and Kai actually battled for a spot on the Demolition Boys roster heading into the World Championships, with Kai winning out and taking the team position.
His beyblades are Wyborg (using Wy Crusher) and Wyborg 2 (with Sand Bind and Dive Bomb attacks).
