Ikoma works as a steam smith at Aragane Station, where he spends his days crafting iron and steam engines. He's best known for developing the "Tsuranuki Zutsu"—a weapon specifically designed to pierce through Kabane—alongside his close friend Takumi. The two put real work into the project, though most people around the station don't take him or his ambitions seriously. Still, Ikoma hasn't given up; he genuinely believes there'll come a day when he proves everyone wrong and his invention actually matters.
