Alzack Connell came to Fairy Tail as an immigrant from the West and joined the guild. He first showed up in chapter 2 and episode 9.
The guy's got it bad for Bisca Mulan, another guild member, but he's way too shy to actually tell her. When Loke jokingly suggested he'd confess for him if Alzack didn't make a move, Alzack took it seriously and started viewing Loke as his rival.
