Sonoko Ijuuin was the captain of Juuban Municipal High School's softball team and the president of the Three Lights Fan Club—basically their number one fan. She's best known for becoming the Phage Sailor Leaguer after her Star Seed was taken.
Her obsession with Seiya created drama when she noticed him gravitating toward Usagi, who she thought was way below his level. Sonoko challenged him to a bet: if her softball team lost to his, he'd have to stop hanging around Usagi. During a rain delay before the big game, Sonoko confronted Usagi directly and threatened to smash the ball right at her. But when Usagi admitted she'd probably fail to catch it yet refused to give up anyway, something clicked for Sonoko. She actually respected that kind of determination.
It didn't save her from Sailor Lead Crow's attack, though. After her Star Seed got stolen, Sonoko transformed into a Phage, but Eternal Sailor Moon stepped in and saved her before things got worse.
