Setsuno is one of the four "Gourmet Living National Treasures" and basically a legendary figure in the cooking world. She runs a restaurant in Gourmet Town, though fair warning—you're looking at a ten-year waiting list if you want to eat there.
She's best known for being the first chef to successfully prepare Puffer Whale without destroying it, which is kind of a big deal. She's also obsessed with recreating the Century Soup after tasting it once years ago. She's gotten incredibly close to nailing it, but ultimately asked Toriko and Komatsu to finish what she started.
Back in the day, she was partners with "Knocking Master" Jirou, and she's clearly still got the skills to back up her reputation. She maintains some kind of connection with Ichiryuu, and apparently knows the Bishoku-kai boss well enough to call him an idiot without hesitation. Fans often note that despite her age, she remains genuinely formidable.
