Jackal's a sadistic guy who genuinely gets off on making people suffer—and he's pretty open about it. He treats human pain like entertainment, which makes him one of the more openly brutal members of Tartaros.
Visually, he's got brown hair and black eyes in the manga, though the anime gave him yellow eyes instead. It's one of those adaptation quirks that actually makes him look even more menacing on screen.
