IA is a Japanese VOCALOID created by 1st Place Co., Ltd. and released in January 2012 as one of the early VOCALOID3 voices. Her voice comes from Lia, a Japanese singer best known for "Tori no Uta"—the opening theme for the visual novel Air, which was written by Jun Maeda.
