Akira is Satomi's younger sister and basically lives as a hikikomori—she's set up shop in a cardboard box hidden somewhere in the Academy that only she and Satomi know about. She's a seriously skilled hacker who spends most of her time glued to computers, whether she's scrolling social media or breaking into the school's security feeds and students' phones.
Middle school hit her hard. She dealt with brutal bullying that left her with a crippling fear of social situations, so she just. withdrew from everything. That isolation became her whole life until Shouko randomly found her and actually stuck around long enough to befriend her. Having someone who genuinely wanted to know her made a real difference—Akira's gradually been able to face the outside world again because of it.
She's also the one who leaked that video of Haruto piloting the Valvrave onto the WIRED Network, which honestly says a lot about how she operates behind the scenes.
