A first-year high school student who's basically glued to his camera. He's known for constantly filming everything around him—so much so that people have nicknamed him "The Director." It's kind of his whole thing.
He's got a genuine crush on Ichika, though he's also aware that Tanigawa has feelings for him. That doesn't really change how he feels though. He's the type to daydream about talking to Ichika, and because he talks out loud during these little fantasy conversations, it frequently causes awkward or funny misunderstandings with people around him who have no idea what's going on in his head.
