Harlequin is one of Les Dernier Quatre and serves as the Faceless Court Jester. When Faceless gets trapped in space, Harlequin makes a move to steal Eleonore and force her into marriage—a plan that falls apart thanks to Narumi's interference.
On the surface, he comes across as a goofy white demon who spouts nonsense and has an annoying voice. But beneath that act, he's actually one of Faceless's most devoted automatons. People write him off as stupid, though that reputation doesn't account for how genuinely dangerous he is thanks to his weather manipulation abilities. He's also shown a cruel streak—most notably when he tried to drink a child's blood during his forced marriage attempt with Eleonore.
What's interesting is that Harlequin has a darker side that doesn't take kindly to being laughed at. When Pantalone started mocking him over his marriage ambitions, Harlequin's mask slipped completely. He lost it and attacked Pantalone in a fit of rage, revealing that there's something genuinely volatile underneath all the clowning around.
