Yunan is one of the four Magi alive today and serves as Guardian of the Great Rift. He's best known as the "Wandering Magi"—a fitting title since he travels constantly, summoning Dungeons wherever he goes. He was responsible for raising Baal, the very first Dungeon, fourteen years before the main story begins.
Despite his youthful appearance, Yunan has been reincarnated eight times already, and his consciousness carries through each new body. He's on his ninth life now. He's met Ugo in the Sacred Palace after each death, and he finds the emergence of someone like Sinbad—someone of such extraordinary strength—genuinely remarkable. He calls it a "miracle," something that supposedly happens only once every thousand years.
Personality-wise, he comes across as surprisingly gentle and easygoing, almost always smiling. He cries pretty easily when frightened, which showed when some Parthevian kids bullied him. He has a feminine-looking face, though that doesn't match his youthful male appearance.
Yunan doesn't pledge loyalty to anyone and moves freely from place to place. He's gained a reputation for showing up when least expected. He's shown genuine compassion toward the Fanalis race and even felt sympathy for Sinbad's mother during her illness.
As for abilities, he has access to unlimited Rukh and Magoi like any Magi, and he's skilled with Borg. His specific fighting style and magic type remain unclear, but his most notable power is his ability to manifest or destroy Dungeons at will. He also has exceptionally sharp hearing—keen enough to pick up on everything happening across the entire island of Sindria. The accumulated knowledge from his multiple lifetimes makes him an expert on Alma Torran and countless other subjects.
