Andrei is a tall, heavyset young man with pale skin, black hair, and black eyes. His most striking features are unconventional: his ear lobes extend unusually far down toward his neck, and despite having an oversized head, his face is proportionally small compared to the rest of his features. During his time in the school's Prison Block, he proved himself the strongest of the five boys after a five-minute arm wrestling match with the Vice President.
Personality-wise, Andrei comes across as calm and gentle, genuinely caring about his friends and often putting their needs before his own. He's particularly protective of Jouji Nezu, showing noticeably more emotional concern for him than the other first-year boys.
That said, Andrei's got a darker side. He's known as the most lecherous of the group and is an extreme masochist. As the series progresses, his deviant tendencies shift toward more sadistic behavior—particularly with Meiko, which he justifies through a system he calls "Andrenomics" or "investment-upon-return."
