Master Swordsman
A quiet, unassuming guy in his mid-40s who runs a fencing dojo out in the countryside. He's the first to call himself "a useless old man," but don't let that fool you—his sword technique is genuinely exceptional, honed to something closer to art than combat over decades of practice.
When his former student Aleucia asked him to come to the city and serve as a special instructor for the knightly order, he went. It wasn't really his scene—he's more comfortable in his rural dojo than anywhere else—but he took the job seriously. His modesty can be almost annoying sometimes; even with all his skill, he downplays himself constantly.
Outside of teaching, he's a simple guy. Enjoys a good ale and doesn't need much else. The kind of person who's probably forgotten more about swordsmanship than most people will ever learn, but you'd never hear him brag about it.
