She's got this love-hate dynamic with her brother Kaito—she's always rebelling against his meddling, though honestly, she cares about him more than she lets on and definitely doesn't want to see him hurt. The irony is that Kaito struggles to express himself clearly, so half their conflicts come from straight-up misunderstandings rather than real disagreement.
She's genuinely fascinated by the occult and found the danger of the alternate world weirdly compelling, even as things spiraled out of control. That fascination is what led her to tell Saki Kimishima and the others about the forbidden shrine in the first place—and that decision to go there is what got them all trapped in the alternate world. She's carried serious guilt about that ever since, convinced the whole mess is her fault.
