Yuujirou has unknowingly had a crush on Rui since they were kids, though he was initially heartbroken to find out that Rui was not a girl. His height is a point of insecurity, though he does eventually grow to be only 10cm shorter than Rui. He usually hangs out with Koudai, and is in the school's judo club.
