Hydrapple is basically seven separate creatures called "syrpents" crammed into a single syrup-apple body, and honestly, they don't always get along. Each syrpent has the same basic design: green leaf-shaped eyestalks with yellow eyes, a long green body with a pale yellow belly, and a tail tipped with leafy decorations.
You'll always see three syrpents sticking out. The main one—the dominant head—rises straight up from the center of the apple and has two horns, with an apple impaled on the left horn that's apparently the same one this Pokémon used to live in back when it was an Applin. Two more syrpents have their tails poking out the rear. The other four syrpents hang out inside the syrup, usually keeping their eyestalks closed and mostly hidden. Sometimes they all emerge at once and you get five heads visible at the same time. To actually move around, those two tail syrpents do the heavy lifting by pushing the whole thing across the ground.
The real problem with Hydrapple is that its seven heads are moody and unpredictable, rarely cooperating. They bicker constantly. But on the rare occasions when all seven syrpents happen to be in sync, Hydrapple can unleash some serious power.
Evolution: Hydrapple is what Dipplin becomes, making it one of the final evolution forms of Applin.
