Caster served as Kiara Sessyoin's Servant during the Moon Cell Holy Grail War in Fate/Extra CCC, and later became one of the Protagonist's Servants in Fate/Grand Order.
Visually, Caster looks like a boy around ten years old dressed in formal wear, but his voice belongs to someone much older. His body bears the physical toll of his legends—covered in scales, burns, frostbite, and countless other marks that tell his stories. Fans often note the striking contrast between his boyish appearance and aged voice.
What's interesting about Caster is how he interprets what it means to be a Heroic Spirit at their "golden age." Rather than his mythological prime, he sees his childhood as his true peak—when he was most emotionally raw and creatively sharp. He's even expressed embarrassment looking back at his earlier work, finding it rambling and overwrought. He figures that even natural talents plateau once they hit their twenties and become ordinary. He's theorized that being summoned at this specific age might've been intentional on someone's part—though he's less than complimentary about whoever arranged it.
Caster first appeared in Fate/Grand Order during the London campaign materials, and has since shown up in Fate/Extra CCC Fox Tail.
