Fuyunyan's got a strong sense of right and wrong—he'll stand up for his friends without hesitation. He's patient by nature, though he can lose focus on whatever task he's been given after a while. He's noticeably self-conscious about his Dekanyan transformation. His behavior tends toward the childish side; fans often note his hammy delivery and sound effects, especially in the movie when he introduced the "Rewind Stone." He just has quirky ways of doing everyday things.
His main ability is flight. In the movie, he's shown throwing energy balls and coating his fists with the same power.
When Keita and Keizou draw strength from all the other Yo-kai, Fuyunyan transforms into Darknyan—a grittier, significantly more powerful version of himself.
