Mea Kurosaki is a character from To-Love-Ru Darkness, sent to Earth to retrieve the "old" Golden Darkness—only to discover that the target is her own sister, Yami. Both were created by the same organization, making Mea the younger sibling, though she's actually the more advanced model. Where Yami chose to settle into a normal life on Earth, Mea struggles with that decision; she's never known anything but being a weapon, and part of her expects her sister to feel the same way.
Her first real memory is waking up alone in the wreckage of the research facility where she was built. That's where she met Nemesis, another living weapon from a different program. When she eventually befriends Nana after being spotted staring out a window, something shifts—she starts thinking of people as friends rather than just subjects or obstacles.
As a "second generation" transforming weapon, Mea's abilities outclass Yami's in several ways. She can transform individual body parts into devastating energy weapons and even slip into someone's mind while they sleep to extract information. Like her sister, she favors using her extremely long hair as a medium for transformation.
Personality-wise, Mea's basically a chaotic trickster. She's almost always smiling, stays friendly whether she's talking to allies or enemies, and gets genuine kicks out of messing with people—especially teasing Rito and all the girls vying for his attention. She makes a lot of jokes about licking him or wanting to, usually framed as teasing, but it's been revealed that these aren't jokes at all. Her actual desires are genuine, buried under layers of dark impulses so intense that when the ghost Oshizu possessed her and glimpsed what was really in Mea's mind, it left her deeply unsettled and mistrustful of her ever since.
