Gansley (Konosuke Oshita in the Japanese version) is the former vice-president of KaibaCorp and founded the Big Five, serving as their leader.
A business obsessive through and through, Gansley treats his monsters like corporate employees, which basically sums up his whole worldview. In the Japanese dub, he's big on quoting warlords and philosophers about building a strong organization, while the English version has him offering Yugi business tips instead.
There's an interesting difference between the two versions regarding Yami Yugi. The Japanese version establishes that Gansley knows about Yami Yugi's existence and refers to Yugi as "Type-A" and the spirit as "Type-B Yugi," but the English dub completely omits this detail—Gansley shows no awareness that Yugi shares his body with anyone else.
