Rein is basically a digital entity who managed to get a physical form through 3D printing technology. The whole cyberspace origin thing is pretty central to her character—she's not your typical human. What's really interesting about her is that she can apparently tap into some kind of advanced AI intelligence that lives in her brain, and when she does, she becomes a completely different person. It's a pretty wild transformation that fans tend to fixate on.
