Tama Inubouzaki
Height: 163cm
Birthday: March 15
As a regular middle schooler, Tama is painfully average—shy, unremarkable athletically, and not particularly bright compared to her siblings. Her family doesn't let her forget it. She never volunteers in class, she's dead weight during PE, and she's basically invisible to her classmates. Her grandmother's one of the few people who actually values her, mostly for just being genuinely kind despite everything working against her.
Her magical girl form is a different story entirely. As part of Team Ruler (alongside Ruler, Swim Swim, and the Peaky Angels), Tama transforms into a dalmatian-themed fighter complete with dog ears, a tail, oversized paw gloves, polka-dot tights, and a pet collar and leash that Ruler gave her. The leash was meant as a demeaning gift, but Tama was thrilled—she genuinely took it as a kindness.
Her power is. niche. She can scratch holes into any surface. It's not flashy or combat-useful, and Ruler definitely reminds her of that fact regularly. Tama doesn't help matters by being weirdly devoted to her boss, which just makes the whole dynamic awkward. But she's genuinely fond of her team, especially Swim Swim. The two are inseparable, and Tama's given her the nickname Swim-chan (or just "Swim" depending on the translation).
She's got this spacey, vacant look that makes people think she's not all there, and Swim Swim ends up treating her with sympathetic head pats. In reality, Tama's just zoning out while her brain catches up with everything happening around her. She's also catastrophically cowardly—she bolted the moment she spotted Snow White and La Pucelle posing in the magical chat room, and again when she first laid eyes on Hardgore Alice.
Oddly enough, in the mobile game tie-in, Tama somehow hit max level and maxed out all her stats. Combined with her ability accidentally being useful for studying soil composition and finding fossils, this actually earned her some genuine respect from a classmate who was stuck being her partner on a school project.
