Dai Kaiōshin
Dai Kaiōshin (大界王神; "Grand God King of the Worlds") is basically the top dog among all the Kaioshin—the supreme deity ruling over the entire universe before the main series kicks off. In the FUNimation dub, he goes by Daikaioh.
Most of what we know about him comes from East Kaioshin's flashback. The manga only gives him a single panel appearance, but the anime actually fleshed out his backstory way more, which is where fans get most of the details about who he was and what happened to him. His presence looms over the early lore of the series even though he's barely there in the source material.
