Manami
Manami stopped his education after middle school to support his younger sister, Maaya. For the next three years, he worked steadily, but things fell apart when his manager hired someone else's son for a position—and Manami got pushed out. He felt humiliated, convinced his coworkers were laughing at him for never finishing high school.
That's when Maaya stepped in. She'd been suggesting he attend independent studies high school with her for a while, and he'd always brushed her off. But after losing his job under those circumstances, he finally agreed. Getting his diploma became something he actually wanted to do.
